I’m a sucker for a good old fashion love story and this is such the case. This story comes from a 100 year old woman who reflects on her long marriage to her late husband Moe. I love hearing the stories from our older generations and often they hold such wisdom. I’m grateful others have walked the path before me and hope to continue to learn from them.
I LOVE Soulpancake (so much my dream is to work for them) and often pull references/videos/photos from their site. If you have never watched one of their videos I sincerely invite you to experience the soulful love of sharing your heart with others. I’m grateful to have come across this particular video because it reminded me of one of the New Year’s resolutions I set for myself this year (to create a different image of myself). I have succeeded in this goal and am reminded how powerful self-confidence really is. If improving your confidence is a goal of yours this video will warm your heart.
Do you set New Year’s resolutions? If so, what are you considering improving in 2014?
Two of my very favorite things are inspiration and music. Matt Redman is one of my favorite musicians. He is a mainstream Christian artist but his music is rock and roll at its core. He is quite an inspirational musician and when I need a a powerful word he is one of my sources. I appreciate having the ability to pull up Matt’s music from my phone or any computer.
Today, I was able to offer assistance to a number of people. My soul exists to give and being in the job I am offers me that opportunity multiple times a day. Not all of the feedback I receive is immediately appreciated. I have to remember that I’m laying the ground work for application at another time. For those moments, I am grateful for the faith I have in others. Their intent is positive despite their reaction (especially when they are upset).
