365 Days of Gratitude – Day 319

Happy Tuesday! I am feeling the crunch. Last week of school and so many things going on. I’m grateful for two things today-> the first…..I was late to my dentist appt today and they let me arrive late and not reschedule. WIN! Second, I learned I need to avoid any and all appts the last two weeks of each quarter. By taking things off my plate and more strategically scheduling events I believe I will be able to take care of myself and reduce my stress. Thank goodness for realizations.

What realization did you have today?

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 318

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapy Monday!!!!

It’s final’s week, week of overtime, and officially crunch time. I’m ready and raring to go! I’ve got my weekly schedule established, am motivated, and feeling better after fighting my cold. It is also my very last late night and next week I will be able to leave on Monday afternoon at 4pm for the first time in almost 2 years. I am SO excited about it. New jbo starts next week but lots to do and people to enjoy this week. I’m grateful for changes…..so many coming up!

What change are you grateful to experience?

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 317

What a gorgeous Sunday!!!!!! I woke up after a long restful night of sleep to one of the most glorious of weather days we have had in a very long time. I ran a few errands and went home to hunker down on school work…in my bed. It was a wonderful quiet afternoon. I submitted my weekly assignment early and began next week’s assignment early. Early bird gets the worm! Was thankful to have had the brain power and motivation to get it done!

What were you thankful for today?

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 313

I am SO excited to announce that I am moving on to a new opportunity at Capella. I am moving to a Dissertation Advisor position. I will be working solely with learners who are working on their dissertations. I am really happy that professional development at Capella is highly supported and encouraged. This hasn’t always been my experience and I very much enjoy challenging myself and building my skills. I move to my new position on September 22nd. I love that I will no longer need to work a late night, evenings, and am able to maintain my early schedule. God is good and I am grateful for this new journey I am going to take.

What brought you gratitude today?

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 312

Today was an interesting day….my day at work went very quickly (thank you to many meetings) but the evening went nice and slowly. Love when this happens, however rare. The element of time is an odd dimension for me. At times I want it to move quickly and other times times moves too slowly. The trick is to be happy right here and right now despite where I am, where I was, and where I want to be. I’m thankful for the that attitude because at times it can be a challenge.

What brought you gratitude today?

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 311

Today, I received the results of the 360 degree feedback I had requested from my teammates. Some of the information was a little surprising but nothing out of line. It was so heartfelt to hear feedback from others who I spend so much waking hours with. The impact that I seek to make is occuring and I am proud of that. My purpose is being lived and I could not be more grateful of this opportunity.

Who makes an impact in your life?

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 310

Today, our family was honored to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of my aunt Shirley and uncle John. It was the perfect day for a loving celebration and am so grateful to spend the time together with family, hearing stories of days past, and being reminded of dear memories. So many memories with the family and at the house in which my mother grew up in. Was thankful to be part of such a gorgeous event.

How did you spend this amazing Sunday?
