365 Days of Gratitude – Day 158

I recently switched dentist’s and had a visit this morning. This dentist came by a referral, is indendepently owned and operated, and is very efficient. He provided a very thorough-much more so than in the past. His prices were great (I shopped around), everyone was kind, and I left feeling great. Today, I’m grateful for trying something new and being very pleased with the results.

What new thing have you tried lately?

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 157

Ahhhh…..Spring has arrived. It was a wholly gorgeous day today that was very well appreciated. Time with family, errands, cleaning, and preparations for our upcoming trip filled this glorious day. Gone are the winter coats and closed windows. Spring is my favorite time of the year and simply puts a smile on my face and adjusts whatever attitude defect I might be experiencing. I’m grateful to say goodbye to Winter!

How did you spend this wonderful day?

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 155

And another one has begun….I’ve started another year, another quarter, and another course in my DBA journey. I am still excited (hope I always am) to get started and participate on the first day of class. The quarter officially begins but we receive course access the Friday before. One of my strategies is to log in, review the syllabus, and begin to mentally preparing how I will manage my time for the next 10 weeks. Starting early and working ahead of schedule of one of my greatest success strategies and I’m grateful I learned this one early.

What are some of your greatest success strategies?

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 150

Aaaaannnnnnnnddddddd Spring has arrived (finally!). Today, the temperature reached 60 degrees (the first time in 5.5 months). What a wonderful weather day today as more snow has melted and we are seeing more of our grass appear. Soon, flowers will emerge and children outside playing will be the norm.

Today, I was able to mark more items off the to do list-especially the car repair list. New tires, ugg! But, they are and I’m enjoying a smoother quieter ride. Spent the vast majority of the day doing very little (which is one of my favorite ways to spend time). I’m grateful for the time to be able to do so.

What are you grateful for being able to accomplish today?
