365 Days of Gratitude – Day 179

I’m a sucker for a good old fashion love story and this is such the case. This story comes from a 100 year old woman who reflects on her long marriage to her late husband Moe. I love hearing the stories from our older generations and often they hold such wisdom. I’m grateful others have walked the path before me and hope to continue to learn from them.

Who’s story inspired you today?

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 178

While yesterday was nice and quiet….today was the opposite. Being busy is the norm for me, but was grateful to slow down for one hour and hear The Word at Cedar Valley. The message focused on grace and the truth and how we can be better people by being more transparent. This really spoke to my heart as I am trying to be a more honest and transparent person in my dealings with others.

What message spoke to your heart today?

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 177

Experienced another really low key day today. I just love those and love that I can stay in my pajamas through out the day, relax, and work on school work. Also, had a coupon for a free oil change and they didn’t even try and upsell me on anything. Today, was a great day! I appreciated the opportunity to be able to spend the day relaxing.

How much relaxation were you able to experience today?

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 175

Usually, the rain would frustrate me. I mean we have had very few beautiful Spring days. And after the kind of Winter we had everyone is anxiously awaiting the sunny, warm days we’ve missed for so long. Anyway, it rained today and was 50 degrees. Since being on vacation the last 9 days and soaking up 80 degrees in sunny Fl coming home to less than average weather was a challenge. But, I’m thankful that since I need to return to work I would much rather have it cold and rainy than warm and sunny.

What brought you gratitude today?
