I am grateful to have had a day today to celebrate all of the special people in my life. I love you all.

Who in your life are you most grateful for?

And….progress we are making. I love working on projects and as a goal oriented person I’ve always got one (or many) I’m trying to complete. This painting project has been monumental and we are finally nearing its completion. Thank goodness for hard work, progress, and most of all others to help get it done. Here’s to making great progress and trying to enjoy all of the learning that is occurring during the process.

What is the one big goal you are working on right now?

Happiness is being with family. Tonight, I finally was able to attend my niece’s soccer match and cheer her on. It was a lot of fun and I am SO proud of her. She is 10 and is so incredibly smart, loving, and funny. Like all children, she is growing SO quickly. I love her dearly and am grateful to be able to watch her learn, grow, and become a young lady.

Who are you grateful for in your life?

While I don’t always love working a late night every week….11:30-8 can be challenging at times. I do enjoy taking time for myself on Monday mornings and sleeping in. I’m grateful for the time every Monday morning. Another simple pleasure and making the most of what I have.

What brought you gratitude this beautiful day?

Ahhhh……spending the entire day in my pajamas. What a nice treat this was today. Slept in, read the Sunday paper, and focused on homework for the rest of the day. It was so wonderful to have been so relaxing. Am grateful for a slow day.

What brought you gratitude on this Sunday?

I’m back at it today….back in the office. It was SO wonderful only working 3 days this week (and secretly I hope to have a part time schedule such as this one day in the future.) It’s so relaxing working on a Saturday and while the world is enjoying their weekend I am able to focus and get a lot of work done. I’m grateful to have quiet opportunities to do that.

What brings you gratitude on this lovely Saturday?

It was another crazy day. I worked outside all day on the paining project which was exhausting! I was grateful to have my mother provide support, nourishment, and ongoing encouragement. This project is not without its frustrations and having an open ear and a very caring heart is most helpful. I am SO grateful for her!

How do you show gratitude towards your mother?

Was quite a busy day for me today. I worked my regular (day) job and then my painting project this evening. While I was exhausted from such a long day I am grateful to have projects that help me earn extra money?
