Yaaaahhhhoooooo! I was notified today that my the schedule shift I have requested has been approved and I can start it in the next week! Not only will I be able to take a shorter lunch I am able to leave each day at 3:30 and have only two start times per week instead of three (what a roller coaster that was). I’m SO excited (and grateful)!

What wonderful news were you given today?

Thank goodness for the little things…..although in this case it was a really big thing. I have been struggling with an infection (sorry if TMI for you) and today I was able to go and have it officially treated. I am grateful for pain relief!

What little thing made brought you gratitude today?

PS-I’m also grateful for my sister going out and getting me a little treat. Appreciate her!

Today, I was given a deadline extension-and without any deduction in points. Thank goodness for the break I was given by my instructor. I really needed this, as I’m fighting a cold and my motivation levels have dropped this was just what I needed right now and I’m grateful.

When was the last time you were given a break?

Am feeling very accomplished. Today, was smashingly busy which was wonderful as the day flew by….but boy am I tired. Fighting a cold + being really busy = one tired ole person. Am grateful the day is almost over….only minutes until bedtime. Am grateful that when days are busy, stressful, and I just don’t feel right that they eventually end.

What made your gratitude transpire today?

Visited the Como Conservatory today and it was absolutely gorgeous! What an absolute treasure we have in MN. It was filled with fully bloomed and well fragranced flowers. It was bustling with visitors from all ages. Not only is it beautiful but it is free to visit (although suggested donation amounts are posted). If you’ve never been, please place this on your list of places to visit. You won’t regret the beauty it encapsulates. I’m grateful for nature’s beauty.

Are you?

“Many people hestitate to praise the people they work with, thinking would seem like flattery. But others know we are in spiral of helping, a contest of giving.” Dale Dauten

Are you grateful for those whom you work with?

It was a wacky day-weather and work. Clouds came and went and so did the laughter. We had a lot of fun at work today and I’m grateful to work with such amazing and talented individuals. They really are personable, helpful, skilled, and are amusing.

I’m grateful to work with team and more importantly, become a better person because of them.

The started out rough-I’m not going to lie. I stood outside in the windy, cold, rainy morning only to realize I missed my bus and then took another arriving to work a few minutes late. Thankfully, my shoes and jeans dried while on the bus in but I sure didn’t feel my best self upon arriving to work.

In moments like this I seek inspiration…..this allows me to move my thought process outside of my frustrations and onto something more productive. Like this-advice from the oldest person on the planet. Her name is Misao Okawa and she is 116 years old. Her advice -> “Eat, sleep, and relax” http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/03/oldest-person_n_4890213.html. Love this!

Where do you seek inspiration?
