Boy, am I a lucky lady. I have SO many blessed friends and colleagues. My soul is filled with joy that I am able to share my days with people who are such amazing individuals. I have shared lunches, coffee dates, dinners, and movie dates with many of the wonderful ladies lately and I’d like to take a moment to express my gratitude.

I have such profound appreciation for a large (I know! I’m SO lucky) group of ladies in my life that support me, encourage me, challenge me, laugh at me, laugh with me, inspire me, motivate me, and most of all love me. I love you ALL! Thank you!

Who are those amazing people in your life you cannot live without?

Rest, rest, and more rest. I was so lucky and so thankful to have had such a relaxing weekend. I spent time reading, writing, editing, church, lunch with my son, dinner with family. A most happiest of weekends. I am grateful for these and look forward to many more!

What was your favorite part of your weekend?

Awww…another gorgeous Fall Saturday. We have really been blessed with our Fall weather this year, and thankfully so since our Winter last year was do hefty and drawn out. I spent the day relaxing and doing a considerable number of edits on the dissertation. I am so grateful that my research/statistics course this quarter has very little writing involved and really allows me the time and energy I need to focus on my dissertation.

How was your Saturday?

I feel great. I am in a fabulous mood. I slept well, it’s Friday, I have no commitments this weekend, and I am so grateful for everything I have. Life is good my friends. Life good.

Fall is ever so beautiful, the leaves on the trees are changing, and our horizon is mixed with colors of orange, cranberry, rust, and dark green. It is wonderful to experience Fall in Minnesota. Last evening as I was raking the many leaves that have dropped from century old oak trees I was astounded at the beauty of the trees in the neighborhood. I am grateful to have the vision and insight to slow down long enough to treasure the visual wonderland Fall has offered us.
