Today was the garage sale prep day and was blessed to have received some hand me downs from others. As simple as it is, I am grateful for the opportunity to give to others (through a Goodwill donation) and to have received some fabulous items from others. Love these kinds of events.

What brought you gratitude today?

Babies, oh sweet babies. They are wonderful and in the great circle of life continue to give us hope. I am grateful for the growth within my family and the opportunity to be a part of it.

What baby are you grateful for in your life?

Today I am grateful for LIFE. Life is precious. It is vulnerable and it can disappear in an instance.

Who are you cherishing today?

I love quotes and today I share a favorite:

“You’ve touched people and known it.
You’ve touched people and never may know it.
Either way, you have something to give.
It is in the giving to one another that each of our lives becomes meaningful.”

I feel on top of the world today! After 9 drafts and 8 weeks of writing my Chapter 1 of my dissertation has been approved (big sigh)! I am thrilled at the accomplishment and what it means. I am able to travel to my colloquia next week and see my instructors and classmates….but more importantly I have reached an amazing milestone in this gargantuan dissertation process. I am really doing this! I’m grateful to Capella, my family, friends, classmates, and mentor for all of the encouragement and support they have all given me.

Sun, sun, sun, and more sun. How beautiful was this day we had today. It was such a pleasure to get out and enjoy the day. I spent time swinging on our outdoor swing and took a nice walk with one of the dogs and my niece. I’m grateful to have days like this.

Life seems to be so busy lately that the days in which I have little going on are of extra enjoyment. Today was a productive day at work and was able to come home and not have many things to do. Many times I have a long do to list to complete but not tonight. I was able to nap, enjoy dinner with family, work on school work and prepare for my day tomorrow all while having a quiet evening at home. Just blissful.

How did you spend your day?

Happy Monday and hello to our busiest week of the quarter.  A few quarters ago there were some changes made with how we deliver services and the workflow has really changed for my team. I am grateful to have a busier time not feel like we are getting hit by a mack truck. I am grateful for changes like this and appreciate the time these changes have allowed our team to support our other teams.

What changes are you grateful for?
