I love productive days. With so much on the plate right now having marked more items off the to do list help me feel productive and ready to move on to the next item. I’m grateful for the focus and discipline I have obtained as it is necessary to achieve as much as I am working towards.

What quality about yourself grateful for?

9 years ago my life changed and my axis was shifted. I am grateful to have had 18 years with Kelly and miss her and the woman she would have become. I honor her often and am thankful for the courage she displayed, her passion to serve, the spunky teenager she was and the true beauty she was.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for my mother. Her passion, love, care, and generosity towards others is immeasurable and I am thankful to have her as my role model. I love you more and more every day and hope to one day being as AMAZING as you are!

I am SO thankful to have my brother to help me with my car…..and so many other ways. He’s been helping me with my car for years and sternly commands me to maintain oil changes and other regular maintenance. Awhile ago a sensor went out and he’s been helpful in putting it in and helping with some other related areas.

Who in your life are you grateful for?

What a gorgeous day it was and a pleasant morning to restfully enjoy! On my way to work it was 80 degrees and perfectly sunny. I enjoyed my short time experiencing a fabulous morning. I’m grateful for days like this where I can sleep with no alarm and have a quiet morning before work.

What were you grateful for on this wonderful day?

Happy Father’s Day everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I am grateful for the father’s in my life…..my father who raised with values to provide for their family and work hard, Bruce who has been in my life over the last 27 years and who has taught me so many lessons and methods of home ownership and financial lessons, and Bob who has been a wonderful yet, incredibly loving additional to my life. I am incredibly blessed for the men in my life. Thank you….I hope you all know you are valued.

In what ways are you grateful for Father’s Day?

Pajamas, yes pajamas is what I am grateful for today. After operating much like a freight train over the last week spending a day relaxing, working on dissertation work, snuggling with the pups, and catching up on the DVR I am grateful for slow days.

How did you spend your Saturday?

It is a full moon and Friday, the 13th…..luckily I woke up with great motivation and ready to take on the day (and its challenges). I successfully finished my fifth course in my DBA program and reached a wonderful milestone. I am officially half way done with my program. It seems like just last week I started the most difficult journey in my life but it was officially five quarters ago. I am excited and proud of my progress thus far. But most of all am grateful for what I have learned, academically I have gained so much more knowledge and personally I have grown tremendously. I am grateful for this journey!

What journey are you on that you are grateful for?

Today was a day of little motivation….I struggled to go above and beyond and work on the tremendous tasks ahead of me. Although, I accepted that lack of motivation and did what I could knowing that today is one day and tomorrow is another. I am able to only do so much and today I did what I could. I’m grateful to have accepted what I could and not punish myself for what I couldn’t.

What area of life are you grateful for?

Multiple sources of gratitude filled my soul today: a fabulous night of sleep last night (after a not so restful night the night before), a productive quick moving day at work, my sister who grocery shopped AND cooked dinner, quality time with my niece, puppy snuggles, dissertation feedback, and lots of school work completed to round out the evening. Love days like this…..only focusing on the positive today. No negative energy allowed.
